Butzbach, 29 October 2025- RIEDEL Networks, provider of tailor-made IT security and network services, has strategically developed its organizational structure and will be relying on an even leaner, more efficient management level in the future. The previous C-level with five managers has been transformed into a compact management trio with CEO Michael Martens, COO Thomas Bender and CSO Oliver Burgdorf. The aim is to shorten decision-making paths, increase agility and further intensify proximity to customers and partners. In future, middle management will take on more responsibility together with the team leads so that decisions can be made where they arise and have an immediate impact.
"We are constantly evolving. At the same time, we want to avoid additional hierarchical levels slowing us down. With the new structure, we are creating even clearer responsibilities and promoting the independence of our teams. This will ensure that we can continue to react agilely to market changes in the future and at the same time further expand our customer focus," explains Michael Martens, CEO of RIEDEL Networks.
As a result of the restructuring, key areas will in future be supported by an expanded group of managers. The new or strengthened areas of responsibility include:

In the course of these changes, Timo Koch, previously Chief Commercial Officer Media, left the company on October 1. RIEDEL Networks would like to thank him for his commitment and valuable input over the past few years. In addition, Timo Siebel will become Director Strategic Procurement & Carrier Relations, while Michael Martens will take over his previous role as Chief Technology Officer.
With this restructuring, RIEDEL Networks is consciously opting for efficiency and flat hierarchies. It shortens coordination channels, strengthens the personal responsibility of the teams and enables faster implementation of customer projects and strategic initiatives. The company is thus optimally aligned for future growth and positions itself as a modern, agile partner that focuses on team culture, customer proximity and sustainable success.
